scheduled to work at my new second job from 330-1030 today at the new Waterfront Rec Center on the navy base (formerly "Club Metro" [yup, thats right in the base...and yes...got shut down because of numerous drunken fights and gunshot and stabbing murders...who woulda known if u got a bunch of sailors and random civilians drunk in a club there would be a 'boom boom' room, sex on the dance floor, and fights and murder?) that is pretty much a cafe and a bunch of video game systems, pc's and pool tables ppl can use for free..

i got to work today and was immediately told i would be working about 5 piers down at Pierside Cafe (pictured below..sort of...just the flyer)...

...because there was a sewage and water pipe leak and there was no running water so the cafe part was closed and because Pierside needed some extra help...rode with the Waterfront bartender whose bar was closed but was not told that til he got there so he started drinking a pitcher of beer then was asked to help out at Pierside. haha.

we get there and the guy there is super chill. the place? more dead than Waterfront. my supervisor for the day was like... 'so wat can ya do?'...i say...'everything'...haha...so i man the register and he does the kitchen and food orders. THEN he was like...how old r u? i said...'24'...he said cool u could do the bar too if u want. then he was like, u can drink beer too if u want too, i dont care. WAIT...FOREAL?! sooo...ur tellin me....i can DRINK BEER?...for FREE...AND...collect TIPS...WHILE getting PAID FOR ALL THIS?!?!?...i cried a little after being told this. haha.

question of the moment/day...wat to drink at my bar? they had bottled beer...wine...no hard laq...mightve had it before cuz there were shot glasses..and they had bud light, stella and Shock Top, some belgian white wheat ale on tap

...havent tried that before so i had that...a pitcher...of that...CHEERS!...haha... i thought it was better than hefeweizen...but it couldve tasted sweeter cuz it was FREE. haha.

got hungry... so i made myself a footlong chicago philly bbq bacon style hotdog. work. of. art. more tears of pure happiness ran down my cheeks. God Himself got jealous at wat i was able to create.

i ended up making 7 bucks in tips...only had like 2 guests i served.

in summation. i went to work today and got paid to drink beer and eat food. beautiful.

wait...what was that ice cube? yes...yes, "i cant believe today was a good day" either. haha
