from Oklahoma to SD

after graduating and doin nothing and finding nothing in terms of employment with my college degree (public health), decided to go back to school for my nursing degree which has eluded me in past.

1st and easiest option.. Univ of Oklahoma.. they had an offering for a 1yr accelerated nursing program in SD. perfect.. i already had all but one pre req (organic chem) done/required. i got an A in OChem. looks like im in.

got a notice that...SDSU was taking over the okla program. wth?!..oh well thats fine too. sdsu is pretty credible..and i jus graduated from them too haha. got accepted, with potential dates to start in the summer 2010 *pending state approval*.

that asterisk was all but a given and an eventual 'yes'. or so everyone thought...

i get another email saying how the sdsu accelerated nursing program did not get approved...wat the hail?!?!? shit shit shit.. wat do i do now?! ...

and in an act to divert embarassment from a failed program proposal..they offer those accepted..into the traditional nursing program at state. -__- the very program i originally wanted to do. haha. its jus 2-3 yrs from the original plan. so...

im back at sdsu. a year removed..feelin like mase haha

Organic Chemistry 130

feelin like Big Boi, Luda, and JD, but even tho i aint from atlanta, i could finally rep that A!!!!!!!!!!

chem 100? our relationship then was rated a C-...

a year later around the 130 mark? chem and i got another C grading =(

the stakes have changed. i was young then. it was my first couple of cracks at figuring her out. ive grown.. she..well.. she stayed the same.. but still complicated and difficult to read and understand.. but i had a new found determination and maturity that could finally conquer her hump.

needless to say.. this time 'round.. we definitely had 'chemistry' and i Achieved An AmAzing score...time to celebrate with a part-A!!!!!

original BIG 'n lil

1st lil sis ever, sharlene famisan =) kinda snowballed from there with my pickup tendencies. but ur first is always a special number. i love her. i wonder how much she really hates me for the subsequent lil sis's. hmm. but..yeah. its always grounding to hangout and catchup with her. i could call her my totem. one of the best advice givers in the world too i might add.

headed west to seaport to hang out. stopped to check out the midway naval ship. around that area was the statue replica of the famous SD sailor/wife kiss photo taken during, i believe, the post WWII victory. shar suggested a pic of me lookin up the girls skirt -__-, thats not creepy at all haha

a glimpse of the naval ship. i think my father was on it during his active military career. interesting.

DnB's for my longest known friend, Mark Mendoza.......................the guy smushed above the black n blue sweater, left of 'black mike', right of the guy with glasses and a green rimmed cap, and underneath the brandon with the purple rimmed hat.. yup... that guy.. known that guy since...94? yeah.. 1994. damn.. 16 years. since elementary school. kinda lost touch..but always within reach. one of the best memories of my life was with that guy.. spring break trip to the bay area to name one.. one of the best guys i know.. fun to be around.. a great person.. with a personality to match. he knows a lot of ppl. a lot. not exaggerating on this one. i wish the best for him.. love ya brotha.. no homo.
